Bolton’s Winter Festival offers something for all the family from the popular covered ice rink, super fun snow slide, magical Santa’s Grotto and festive markets.

 

Don’t miss the traditional nativity scene on Victoria Square and Christmas Trees which will help you get in the festive mood.

Santa’s Express

Every weekend from 10am to 5pm (2nd December to 24 December)

Hop aboard the Santa Express for a ride around Bolton’s festive streets each weekend from 10am to 5pm.

 

Mayor’s Annual Christmas Fair – 9th December, 10am – 2pm

 

There’s something for everyone at the Mayor’s traditional Christmas Fair. Get into the festive spirit with music and entertainment, games and fun, plus a chance for your little ones to meet Santa and his Elves in the Albert Halls Grotto. The fun starts at 10am when the Mayor opens the event and with a range of fantastic Christmas toys, gifts and craft stalls, as well as drinks and snacks it’s not to be missed. Entry is free for kids and just 50p per Adult. Entrance to Santa’s Grotto is £2 per child which includes a small gift – no need to book, simply pay on the door. Best of all, don’t worry if you can’t make it to see Father Christmas on the day, you can still catch him at Santa’s grotto on Victoria Square right up to Christmas Eve!

 

Cinderella at the Albert Halls – 2nd December to 31st December

 

The first show to take place in the newly restored Albert Halls sees former CBeebies presenter Katy Ashworth, X Factor star David Heath, comedian Aiden J Harvey and Bosom Buddies from Britain’s Got Talent star in this iconic Christmas pantomime. A Christmas Carol at the Octagon Theatre – 17th November to 13th January 2018
