The Church Green in Lymm, recently named as one of the best in Britain for the Summer season by The Times, has today opened The Church Green Deli, offering the very best in seasonal Cheshire & Lancashire produce.
After 12 years of being the face of the hugely popular Cheshire pub, Chef and Owner Aiden Byrne saw an opportunity during lockdown not only to improve the pub’s outside dining area to enable Covid safe and socially distant dining, but to introduce a delicatessen filled with locally sourced produce and homemade food by The Church Green team themselves, including charcuterie.
One feature of the newly opened Deli will be Aiden’s homemade pies, which became an overnight success during lockdown, selling out daily to the Lymm community.
Aiden’s mince pies are certainly going to be good enough to grace the great British menu dinner
