Since lockdown, Doug has been researching and creating new recipes, upskilling and producing videos of simple dishes that can be cooked at home; sharing these with colleagues and customers via social media. He has also been hosting cook-along parties ‘CHEF LIVE’ with groups of family, friends, colleagues, customers and corporate team-building events in growing numbers, teaching classes on how to create a simple, but fun home-cooked meal, whilst raising nearly 6k for Sue Ryder Wheatfield’s Hospice.

Mincemeat laced with berries & homemade locally foraged Sloe gin in a spiced shortcrust case, topped with Grandma Simpson’s infamous Yorkshire parkin, served with a Sloe Gin shot to help it down nicely!
